I have had the privilege of building a national, multi-million dollar company from a kitchen table, serving entrepreneurs, business owners and real estate owners as a New Jersey and Pennsylvania Attorney, and working closely with “Main Street” business owners and leaders. It seems during election campaigns that small businesses get plenty of lip service as the backbone of the American economy deserving of help, but actions speak louder than words. Wall Street and Fortune 500 companies seem to get special favors while small business struggle for more. It is true, in many ways, Main Street serves as the backbone of the economy. Nobody works harder than Main Street.
